If you're a first-time visitor at Apex Family Chiropractic, you'll need to give us some information about your background, medical history and the nature of your condition. This is so that we can provide the best possible care, tailored to your specific circumstances.

A bit of paperwork

We will need to fill out forms that provide general information about you and your condition. Our staff is happy to assist you with the paperwork. Our paperwork is also available on our website so you may complete the necessary forms prior to your arrival in the comfort of your own home.

Consultation
During your first consultation with the doctor, you'll discuss any health-related issues and concerns. You will also learn about potential treatment options.

History and examination
In order to pinpoint the problem, the doctor will ask you a number of questions related to your condition. A variety of targeted tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.

Themal Insight Scan

Our office has a state-of-the art thermal imaging scanner called The Insight Subluxation Station which was certified by the space foundation and co-founded with NASA. With this system we are able to monitor and manage subluxations by checking your nervous system function.

X-rays
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in assessing the most effective treatment plan for you.

Scheduling the next appointment

Regular treatment is essential to the process. We work our treatments around your schedule. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days of their initial visit and are provided with a complete report of findings. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed at this time.
